Overhead Throw
The Lanza
Overhead throw invented by Joe Lanza in 1957. His technique is graphically
described in "Strictly Swing the Dean Collins Way." Lanza triple jumping-jack,
Lanza lifts Ronny Merrit over his head, from front to back, and from back
to front, and then throws Ronny into a free-flying front somersault. This
aerial has never been duplicated.
